Title: Introduction to Perl/Tk

Synopsis:

Perl/Tk is a toolkit for creating cross platform graphical interfaces for Perl applications. The presentation will give an overview of its capabilities and then delve into some practical examples of how to use Perl/Tk to build an interface for an application.

Bio:

Keith has been working at Georgia Tech for 20 years and is currently the Information Security Manager for the Georgia Tech College of Computing. Ten years ago he decided to learn Perl so that he could leverage his experience across multiple operating systems. When he needed a GUI interface for one of his programs he continued the cross platform tradition by choosing Perl/Tk.
